Little Eats: Garlic and Broccoli Pasta
Ingredients:
1 tbsp butter
1 ½ cups boiled pasta
¼ cup pasta water
¼ cup chicken or veggie broth ( Golden Hen Broth, Harvest Tonic Broth)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 broccoli florets, finely chopped
¼ tsp sea salt
Black pepper, to taste
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Boil your pasta until cooked, then set aside and save some pasta water.
2. In a pan, melt the butter, then add the minced broccoli and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
3. Pour in the chicken or veggie broth and the pasta water. Stir to combine.
4. Add your seasonings - salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
5. Stir in the pasta and soy sauce until evenly coated.
6. Finish by mixing in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
Note: This recipe can easily be adjusted for adults - add extra seasoning or your favorite protein for a heartier meal.
